The Old Opera House Theatre Guild

The Old Opera House Theatre Guild was founded in the late 1970’s by Jean Heiler to 1) promote good public relations between the OOH and the community, 2) usher at Opera House performances, 3) raise funds for the restoration and operation of the OOH, and 4) to render volunteer services to the OOH as needed (such as decorating the Theatre for Christmas). The below stairs gallery named after the founder as The Heiler Gallery in her memory and is used to exhibit local artists’ work and serve refreshments during performances.
The Guild operates on the same performance/academic calendar as the OOH, July through June with the officers serving 2-year terms.

Membership and Meetings
Members can be any age from high school on up. Membership forms are available at each of the meetings; dues are $30 per year, July through June. Student memberships are free.
We hold meetings on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Luncheon meetings start at 12 noon and are either catered in the Heiler Gallery or at a local restaurant. Luncheon costs are $20. Beginning March 12, 2020, we will also hold a night meeting on a quarterly basis in the Heiler Room at 7:30 p.m.
